Walking down Davies St, W1 the other day and stumbled across a new dark blue Chim - ltd edition I assume - which had Griff like head lamp covers and no removeable headlamp surround. Looked great and is obviously more practical than the standard arrangement. TVR centre couldn't supply them as spares though. Does anyone know how I can get hold of these mods?

I think all late 2001 and 2002 Chimmys had faired in headlights - Not too keen myself...

That'll be my car then! I bought the car used (1,000 miles)and wasn't sure about the lights at first but they have grown on me. The same goes for the ali dash.

It was the last facelift done to the Chim before its untimely demise/special order only status.

Sounds like mine Mike, but not, not quite in the W1 league!

I think Clive Zertec is currently designing a retrofit upgrade for older chims to have this style of lamp shroud.

www.fotango.com/p/eba00192092f00000019.jpg This is the special "unmarked" version of the Chimaera. Blamed upon some peasant who pinched the plate, I think - have I got that right?

arandle, why don't you look at the TVR website. Seems the obvious place to start!
