Flooded - Part 2
Discussion
Thank you all for your help.
Spark plugs renewed and coil. Still nothing.
Suspect no fuel - not flooded at all. Used Easy Start can into air intake and it fires therefore there is a spark.
Can not hear the fuel pump priming and have checked the fuses and relay.
What's odd is last time it was fine also the plugs taken out after being in only a few hundred miles were as black as coal, which inplies over fueling.
Confused as hell, please help.

The pump should prime as soon as you turn on the ignition,(dont start) and run for about 3 seconds. Even if the pump is not running you should hear the click of the fuel pump relay dropping in then out from the foot well, so listen carefully. Note. On power on, the main relay will energise as well, but it will remain held in with the ignition on, so you dont hear the timed "off click" from this one. If you dont hear the clicks then you could have a faulty relay, ECU, or a 12 volt supply missing from the ECU loom. If you get the inital click / pump run, but the pump does not run as you crank the engine, then the trigger pulse from the coil is not reaching the ECU. On the plug side of things, heavily sooted plugs is normally an AFM failure or constant misfire.
