Disposable gloves. I use them for working on the car and diy. Unless the powertool is very dangerous then thick gloves that might save a finger or two

Depends on a job at hand.
Disposable gloves usually, if there's any need for them.

Usually nothing, but found washing hands and trying to get it out of thick skin a pain.
I now have bright purple gloves.

Working on cars! If I have to dip my hands into a bucket of black oil to get out a sump plug, I'll stick on a pair of gloves, sometimes, but generally I find gloves either intrusive, or uncomfortable.

The reason I ask is because people are asking what I want for Christmas. I've always worked with nothing, or barrier cream if I remember, but some friends will put on gloves to change an air filter. Others wouldn't even consider barrier cream/gloves for any job, so I was wondering what people use for, well, everything between a air filter change to a rebuild.

I find barrier cream to be excellent. As much feel as you could wish for, and your hands come out fairly clean with a wipe of Swarfega, but perhaps a set of Mechanix, or another fine brand, would be best, so I'm interested to see what people use. :
