3 bums, 2 seats. Broke my heart to see her go. Bought a M3 E46 instead and banked the difference. Let me tell you before I go- theyre nice but they are not as fast!

I had a 2.2ltr straight 6 E46 and it was one of the best daily cars I've had.
Never been in the M3 version but theyre something special by all accounts.

Shame about the Griff. That'll teach you to keep your todger under control

SMG or manual? I tried several of both, quite liked them.
I have(had) a 330Ci E46 which was nice but a little dull so thought the M3 could cover all bases but it's just not quick enough when compared to the Griff. Just bought a very nice E39 525 for comfy wafting.

Its a manual - didn't mind which, just wanted a nice one!
Was after a 4 seater, bit different, goes like Griffith and could use all year round. The holy grail for those criteria doesn't exist on my budget, so I had a rethink and compromised a bit.

Have to admit, in fairness, it's a nice motor!

The BMW owner jibes have started already!

Nothing wrong with 3 cars! Me and the missus have 3 cars and so does the sister in law and her fella. Thats 6 cars between us. We went to Scotland last year and got a good deal through work on a hire car so we left 6 cars at home and used the hire car!! There was 6 people for that trip though, still it made us chuckle.

We had the same sad feeling when we let our Griff go last year for the same reason, three bums and only two seats - we bought an Audi S4 cab as it's replacement - as you say, they go well but they're not a Griff......
