Winter trackday tyres?
Discussion
In summer the Triple 8's become almost too hot to touch but when I have used them in cold weather, they hardly warm up but still, have performed quite well.
I am doing Combe this Saturday and am toying with the idea of running my road wheels with T1R's on although the grip is well down on the 8's!!
Decisions, decisions?

HCM, given the weather we're having, have you considered snow tyres??
Hi, 7er, not thought of that option but was considering my Disco with mud terrains
.
in all seriousness tho, have a look at kumho's... I have done a fair few trackdays on them in a Beemer. They're not the last word in grip in the dry, but they're good in the wet, progressive and best of all, quite cheap! The 18" tyres on my Subaru were about £80 a corner from my local merityre in leatherhead (great bunch in there by the way) surrey7er said:
