Oh dear...

Apologies if this is old news. Just found the type of language used by Mr. Hamilton interesting given that it has clearly not been passed through the McLaren corporate-speak processing system...
For example:

Aight, to my young peeps I apologise for the language. Am not venting, I'm always chill. Was not aimed at u. God bless.

Oh so the first post in this thread was not lewis at all?
To be fair, I'm not entirely certain - Planet F1 is my source (as per the link), and they are usually on-the-ball when it comes to these things... I would be surprised if they ran a news story without checking their facts...Still, stranger things have happened!

That Twitter account, @IamLewis4real, is referenced repeatedly by the official McLaren Twitter account, @TheFifthDriver, so I'd say that is the real Hamilton.
It is the real Hamilton - it's been confirmed by McLaren, Jenson Button and Gary Paffett. It's just a pity that Lewis uses txt spk.

Yes it is the real Lewis and word now seems to be that McLaren have stopped him using it...
In any case, IamLewisForReal (the real one) has spawned ImLewisForReal (the fake one) which is actually very funny - read all the Tweets here:

The fake one just said:
"I see my follower number 271 purports to be Mr Fernando Alonso. Not the first time the little turd has had to follow me."

I thought that 'celebrity type people' don't actually post on sites such as twitter themselves - their personal assistants or somebody at their agent's office make up the text and post for them...
The following drivers I know use Twitter themselves:Jenson Button, Danica Patrick, Simona de Silvestro, Andy Priaulx, Susie Stoddart, Nico Rosberg, Lucas di Grassi, Denny Hamlin, Gary Paffett, Karun Chandhok, Mario Moraes, Rubens Barrichello, JP Montoya, Ana Beatriz, Tony Kanaan, Dan Wheldon, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Heikki Kovalainen, Marco Andretti, Ryan Briscoe, Kevin Harvick, Jaime Alguersuari, Mark Webber & Helio Castroneves.
That's some, I'm sure more do and as far as I can tell they all do it themselves, Twitter seems to be a mdeium for them to express "them" instead of a Facebook page, usually on my feed it's a battle between TK, Bia and Karuun for dominance

While I'm not exactly a fan of "txtspk" I love the irony that Lewis who gets lambasted on here for "corporate speak" also gets lambasted on here for doing the polar opposite on his twitter
Good observation!
Thinking about it, one could liken it to Crazy Dave Coulthard on sniffpetrol...
