Head Light Replacment

are you asking about bulb replacement? if so...
front wheel off - inside wheelarch is a circular cover that has sealant round it covering 4 self-tapping screws holding it on. Revove sealant and screws and then you can get to back of headlamp. Replace bulb, refit cover and reseal with sikaflex or similar. Pain in the arse but easy to do. I had both my bulbs go at once !

If it is a real headlamp replacement...
The front cowl needs to come off. Two bolts under the wing. This exposes the headlamp unit which can be replaced. Easy if nothing goes wrong and nuts don't sieze. Piccies etc in the bible.
Early Chims don't have the access in the wheel arch and you grovel through the front!

This might seem like a really stupid question but.....
I was replacing a front indicator bulb this weekend and noticed that I could get my hand through the "dog's teeth mark" holes that the indicator unit sits in and that I could reach up to behind the headlight unit. Is it at all possible to remove or replace the headlight buld this way or is it just too little room? Thanks, Simon
