Thinking of going for a look tomorrow :-))

Not sure if I'd get away with a BMW Warranty on that one though?

Why not?

I suppose posting it up here they might find out that it was bought from a trader but other than that, would they really know?

I meant the lower costing warranty on a <60k mileage car, sorry, I should have been more specific!

Why wouldnt you go for the monthly option at sub 60k and then update month by month...

I would but when they ask for the milage they might say it's within a certain limit and as it's almost at 60k it's too much, suppose I could say it had 58k on it though! Or do they work it as 59,999 is under, 60,001 is over?

From what I understand, theoretically they have no method of checking the mileage at the instantaneous point you take out the warranty. However, if the car has seen a dealer post 60k miles, this will be point where the mileage can be verified in the system.

What I have heard is that if you take the monthly option, you pay at the rate that you started at continually! But I guess the level of cover you will get may change.

What I found was that I had a CSL with 65k on the clock and nothing was ever refused (within reason).

Don't make the same mistake twice with a cheap car Daz!
