I have been invited to an interview tomorrow, my first in 5 years, and I would like to do some research on the company prior to this.
I have read through their website and tried google etc but i'm not finding much. I was wondering if there are any websites anyone would recommend, or any other means to get information on a company?

Many thanks.

Linkedin is worth a shot. It's like facebook, for jobs.. or so i'm told.

Maybe OTT but seeing as I have the information at hand I look up companies house info to make sure they are performing decently enough to provide job security

I take it they are a small company then? Expect the first 20 mins to be the interviewer giving you a potted history of who they are and what they do.

if its hard to come by info., make a point of asking why they don't have a larger presence. research their markets, competitors etc. so you know the gist of what's what.

in any case, i think of all the hours i've spent researching for interviews, i've never been asked a single question where it would be useful.

I’ve checked Google for info about the places I’ve interviewed at. In my industry (hospitality) its good to check out the venue. I’ve also gone to the possible employers premises, again just to check it out in the flesh so to speak, check out the staff and more importantly to see how long it would take to get there.

Try and track down the interviewer on Linked in and check out their history. Can also find some more of the employees this way and have a nose at them too.
