gearbox cable

I have broken twice the same gearbox cable in a short delay...
Has someone had the same problem ? Any idea to fix it ?

Is it too close to the exhaust? I cooked one of mine

No, the cable is broken under the lever.
I asked Dr Grasser as I know he has an unbreakable piece,
but € 850 + shipping is a little bit too expensive for me !
The Factory one is £ 100 + VAT + shipping (about €150 all included).
