Coolant

Having just bought a new (to me) car I have has the coolant replaced ready for winter. I have been keeping an eye on the levels over the last week and have noticed it drop a couple in inches as it's got colder (comparisons made when engine is cold). Is this level of movement considered normal?

It was probably a bit of air left in the system from when it was refilled that has worked its way out.

It could be just degassing but it could also be losing the coolant. Have the system pressure checked to be sure.
