Is this likely to be a write off?
Discussion
Somebody drove into the side of my sisters Micra.
It oddly looks worse in the photos and I think in reality just popping the rear quarter back out would bring it back into line.
My question is whether its likely to be a write off? and is that pillar structural?. The car is only worth around £1500-2000 but it has been cherished, with oil changes every 6k and no known issues before point of impact.

I'm no expert but I don't think it will cause any structural issues (looks to be surface damage from the picture).
Likely that they will class it as a CAT D write off (uneconomical write off). You might be able to buy it back cheap and get it knocked out and sprayed for a lot less than the insurance co will have to pay

, just wouldn't want to get it fixed to find we were covering structual issues. The car is being taken away tomorrow for assessment and will be sure to quiz them.
