Hi

I am planning on tiding up the SEAC a bit more over the winter, one of the jobs is the engine compartment. At present it appears to have a layer of underseal etc around the bottom edge! (See pic)

The layer seams uniform around the whole bottom edge coming up the side by about 2"
Has anybody got the same or have seen the same. As to remove it will be a pain, and I am not certain it can be removed successfully.

Yep, White Spirit and a bit of elbow grease will do the job.

I need one of those round tuits.

There are all sorts of jobs I can crack on with once I get a round tuit.

Dont use a power wash on it, i would get some engine degeaser and run it around there with a stiff brush then hot water to was it down or use panel wipe to clean down the pain and pipes.
