How to make a bumper?
Discussion
i assume to make a replica of a plastic bumper? if the replica needs to be plastic (as per most oem bumpers these days) then 2-3/month is a waste of time, the tooling costs would require hundreds to make it viable.
if the replicas can be made in GRP, then its easy peasy and not that expensive.
any local GRP company (google or yellow pages) will be able to take a mould (single or multi part depending on shape of bumper, and then hand lay up replicas. Expect costs of mould to be £400-£1500 depending on how complex the original shape and whether single or multi-part mould required. The replica bumpers coould be as low as £50 a piece though. GRP is the only way to go for the small quantities you need.
