communications strategy to promote the work of the unit. Managing the spend of an annual budget of £25k, you will liaise with local media, produce information literature, organise and deliver presentations and
assist in the development of road safety initiatives in support of our Casualty Reduction Strategy. In particular, you will be responsible for managing the Partnership's website publicising the anti-speeding message and the use of safety cameras as an effective and efficient means of securing compliance with speed limits. We want you to help us inform drivers that we don't want to 'catch them' we just want them to slow down.

a media/marketing/public relations environment. He/she will be computer literate with experience of e-commerce and knowledge of computer packages

Interesting that they're not asking for someone already committed to the notion that scameras are A Good Thing.........just looking for someone to wheeze up their own beliefs and put them across to the great unwashed........
To me, this implies they believe such zealots do not exist.

Does that mean I can do a presentation about how inattentive driving is the main source of accidents in the country?
Hmm. Don't think i'd get that job somehow
