I have ordered it without (no zenon/LED headlight pack), but apparently it will be law on all new cars from Feb 11, so by the time it arrives they will be compulsary

Nope, DRL's are to be compulsory, and loads of cars already have them anyway, and they're fine. But I don't think it's law for them to be stupid, that's just Audi
