Does anyone on here own and wear a driving watch?
I mean the type of watch which you wear on the underside of your wrist, and the face is angled 90 degrees from a normal watch.
I believe they are designed to be easier to read at the flick of a wrist while driving with your hand on the wheel.
Starting to think they are a cool idea but not sure if it works day to day. Any opinions.....

1934 Gruen Drivers watch. Extended lugs let the watch be worn on the side of the wrist with the watch face be in full view all of the time.
The design didn't catch the imagination of the general public and not many were manufactured.
The design was then dropped a few years later, Wittnauer and Bulova had similar models which were also withdrawn due to poor sales.

Really - sounds utterly pointless to me. Why compromise the usability of a watch for 99% of the time just to make it slightly easier to check the time when your driving and the clock in your car is broken?

Got an omega chronostop drivers watch. Nice watch, bit different from the norm.

This is exactly what I am looking at, lovely retro watch. Just not sure about the drivers one.

Go for the drivers version. Much rarer and will only increase in value.

I regret selling mine (with mesh!). The Chronostop 'driver' was a gimmick though, as it relatively useless without a minute register. I still have a conventional date CS, but their values havent risen anything like as much.
