Intermitant EFI Warning Mk1 2000
Discussion
I have an intermitant EFI Warninc coming up on the LCD. There is usualy a clicking which sounds liek its coming from a relay in the fuse box and then the message is displayed. It also seeme to be linked to the fan heater as some times when I put the heater fan on it sounds like it is stuggling to start up, almost coughing before it hits full speed.
Any ideas?
Any ideas?

Self diagnosis without the software on a laptop is nigh impossible but certainly needlessly expensive.
I had this and it would not even clear.
Clearing all the faults after browsing the reports reset everything and it has not come back.
Could it be after washing it or rain?
The help manual gives all the possible reasons including lambda sensors, air leaks etc.
I have just swapped over the lamda sensors (as I am monitoring adaptive readings)as they are a bit expensive to rule them out.
