458's all LHD?
Discussion
Seems pretty obvious to me and has been explained already. Their main markets are LHD (including Italy itself) so there would be LHD cars on the road before RHD. The usual people here in the UK who buy these cars and sell them on again quickly don't want to wait until they can get a UK regged RHD so import LHD ones from territories where they are already available.

Errrrr? Won't it be because there are 6(?) x many LHD markets and cars as RHD??
Errrr? This is England and so a RHD market....No other Ferrari's or Lambo's are selling with the same LHD:RHD ratio as the 458 in the classifieds section and it is obviously because these were made first as has been stated above.
If your point regarding the number of LHD markets was valid this would be the same across the board - not just on the 458...

However you are forgetting how new the 458 is and how few RHD cars have actually been delivered relative to LHD ones.
the LHD ones are being sold to attract those who want a car NOW

Most of the 458's in the classifieds with actual prices seem to be left hookers.
Why is this I wonder, easier to get hold of? Exchange rates?
I'm guessing because LHDs are much easier to get a hold of and therefore are for sale for those people who wish to "skip" the queue. Why is this I wonder, easier to get hold of? Exchange rates?

my mate in the pub told me its because next year we will be all driving on the right and only those at the top echelons of society have been tipped off on this.
midnight on 31/3/2011.
you heard it here first.
Random 'use of speech' question...midnight on 31/3/2011.
you heard it here first.
Doesn't "midnight on 31/3/2011" technically mean 00.00 on 31/3/2011, and therefore not the start of the following day? (Yes I know what you meant, but I'm a pedant and am curious to know what is correct)

The lottery numbers next Saturday are Random, sticking a pin into a map whilst blind folded will pick a random location. He chose to write what he did, so, not random.

Seems to be more prevalent over the last year or so. Seems I am not alone!

It wasn't used in exactly that context though; I used the word random as I was diverting away from the topic of conversation to ask a question about English grammar - I don't know if that's totally unreasonable!http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ran...
Anyway as per that definition, I spend far too much time hanging out with university students so I think I'm allowed to use it
