General Grabber AT

I have just ordered a set of 255/55 19 General Grabber AT for the Range Rover.
The Disco3 crowd rate them not heard any feedback from any L322 shod owners?
Will be buying a summer set of 19"/20" from fleebay.

Oooh nice. Same questions as above, where, how much etc? I've got a set of MTRs for glooping around in but as you probably know they're a bit too compromised for everyday use. Keep us updated on what your thoughts are on running a set of ATs on tarmac.

Had them on a P38 rather than an L322 but found them to be very assured during the winter. I thought I got stuck reversing off my drive in the snow ... I did but that's because the rear ended up being like a shovel and created a mound of snow that was half the height of the car! I ran 255x60x18 all year round. During regular road duty they were more than adequate. Useful in conditions where you needed to cross muddy banks or divert into the woods to go round a road accident.

I contacted my supplier Wellingborough tyres, who price matched for me.
Fitted £730.

I have 18s on my L322. They knock a little bit off the fuel economy but it's a Rangie and if fuel economy was that much of a worry, I'd have a G-Wiz.

No issues at all over several thousand miles. Good on and off road and strangely they don't seem to wear much. Around £150 a corner give or take.

Sorry are we talking about the new AT or the older AT2 tyres?

I have just ordered the new AT for my 2004 Vogue at a cost of £160 per corner & have AT2's on my 110 Defender.

They are a different tyre, IIRC, the AT2 is being discontinued...

Incidentally, Wellingborough Tyres are the local fitter for Black Circles as well (just in case you needed to know )

having wrecked numerous AT2 .... side walls are thin .... look at the Cooper ST ... its an All terrain but a 10 ply ...I find them very good all rounder

Sorry, they are an on-line tyre shop. I've used them and Tyreshopper.com. You buy your tyres online then get them fitted at the nominated local depot. Always found them very competitive.
