Snow is fun with m+s!!

Morning all,

Just been up town at 4am to pick up SHMBO as she was unable to get a taxi due to the 4 inches of snow!

So just as well i fitted a set of 16s with Goodyear ultra grip M+S tires!

it was SO much fun driving round all the cars / buses / everything that was sitting spinning wheels!!

not so much fun were all the *issed up *rse*oles who decided lights and any idea of when to cross were suspended due to snow!

Anyway, off up north tomorrow so more fun to be had!

and thanks to www.qwicklube.co.uk here in Edinburgh for getting my snow tires and doing my winter check at a very cheap price!!

I was out in a TX4 & it was murder getting anywhere pointing in the direction of travel

Morrisons juggernaut jackknifed coming out of supermarket on Gilmerton Road this morning, cars stranded all over the place.

Us folks in our 4WD just went onto RHS of road and drove past up the hill

Cars abandoned here in Dunfermline, with skinny tyres and a heavy diesel engine I cruised up the hill on idle in 1st

Love driving in the snow, great fun and a wee bit of a challenge.

Nice one Robin, was up town myself on Saturday night out, rare trip out without the kids which was nice.
