tendanitis - ultrasound treatment?

Hi,
I have tendanitis (for soem tiem now) of the tendons inside the elbows.
I know rest shoudl help...but no luck so far.
Does anyione have any experienc eof using a portable ultrasound to treat?
Or of goign to a sports doctor and having treatment with ultrasound?

I don't think the kind of Ultrasound machine you can buy yourself will do the job...I did have Ultrasound years ago for Tendonitis but I think things have evolved a bit since then. Some physio's just use strapping and I have also had acupunture which for me works very well...they basically needle the irritated area which sends the muscle tendon into spasm and relieves the inflammation after a couple for days.

Go and see a physio.
