They do but such a shame the parents didn't fit the child restraint into the car rather than try & defiy the laws of gravity. I guess they will never know if the baby would have survived.

Sorry still dont see that the baby WAS unrestrained only speculation , unless I have missed a statement from the police .

I was basing it on what the op who's girlfriend is a distant relative to the child was saying & also i can assure you that if the child restraint was fitted & fitted correctly, the child almost certainly would have been unhurt.

Not so sure, it sounds like they were T-boned at 70mph. Anyway, best kept to the original thread...

This is what the OP on the other thread said.

apparently the baby was in a car seat but just not buckled in - the parents figured it was just a 5 min journey

the two women were in the bak with the baby in between

Check out my profile before you want to dissagree with what i am saying with regard to the baby surviving if properly fitted into a child restraint.

they got the bd who left the scene after the accident, so hopefully he wont get bailed by our joke of a justice system!!!!!
