Morning,

Can someone please recommend someone to refurb my watch, it's getting a bit tatty and needs a new strap, I'd like it to be restored to as close to new as possible.

Any help is much appreciated, I've done a bit of googling but without much joy!

Thanks

Have you contacted IWC?
For a piece like that, sending it back to IWC for a service would be my preference.

I tried on a Doplechronograph in the summer, really nice however couldn't get over how thick the watch was.

I do like the way the two hands are super imposed on eachother, nice complication.

In the end I went for a St Exupery UTC.

That's really nice. A big fan of most IWC's. Have my eye on a Big Pilot come next lot of dividends! wink

Also like ^

My IWC collection is currently a Da Vinci Collectors Forum, Pilots Chrono and an Ingenuer. Portuguese hand wound or vintage Ingenuer next on the list.

Personally, I'd like one for each day of the week, but then beggars can't be.............

It looks thick but after a while you'll get use to it. My wrist is not big but it wears fine.
