Self leveling suspension

Got up this morning started up the E39 estate the fault popped up on the dash the car has been stood all weekend well since friday afternoon,i defrosted went for a quick spin then turned off when turning back on the warning had gone so take it that was the cold causing the problem?? i know sod all about the beamer so any advice would welcomed

When you first opened the door did you hear a noise/electric motor from the rear, that would have been the suspension pumping up.Pixels gone on my dash so not sure if warning comes with it pumping up.
