Remote locking fobs

Hope someone can help.

I've just bought a 2002 Civic which only came with a key. I'm wondering about the best options for getting a remote locking / unlocking function. Honda want £130 (all in) for a replacement fob. A seperate alarm / immobiliser, with remote locking is £100.

Just after ideas on cheaper options.

I wouldn't really want to do DIY.

Buy a new fob off Ebay and get someone to code it to the car. Many enthusiasts forums have a resident techy who will code keys and the like for very little/beer money.
