I had a kit car and used to do similar.

With sensible hat, jacket and gloves you're fine, even more so if you have a half cover for the car (Tonneau cover) as you bottom half is toasty warm from the heaters.

Awesome. I considered it for the stupidity of it all as I don't care if the interior gets wet (the roof leaks so it does get wet, anyway!).

Snag is... it's too bloody cold out there.

I quite often do that when it's snowing. It's worth it just for the looks you get, if nothing else. hehe

God, the way those people speak on that video make my head hurt! Triumph? MG I think they'll find?
Kudos to him, why not! I saw a bloke driving a Mini 'speedster' type thing with no roof whatsoever around Salisbury in the snow - hard as nails lol

Perfect.
Did similar for a couple of years in a westy.
Cold, yes, but would do it again in an instant.
Was out today in the mx5 with the roof off. Great fun- would go so far as to say the only time in the last 3 years I have been for a drive simply for the fun of going for a drive

Anyway, the bloke's cheating - he's got a windscreen and wipers.

I was just thinking of this sort of thing on a more modern front.

Audi TT Quattro Roadster models now getting closer to £5k.

Set of winter tyres, roof down, fun ?

I know that area of Croydon well, just up near Purley Way. The guy does sound a plank but that's the way they talk 'innit'. smile

Outraegeous! I say we make him take them off, and he's not allowed to use the car again until he had got rid of them! smile
How's the '7 treating you in these fine climes? wink

to be fair it is an MGB, if he put the hood up the inside of the car would probably steam up ... then freeze up, so easier just to leave lid down hehe
