I am trying to source some after market E46 BMW 3 Series lower wishbones for a friend. The BMW ones are 200 odd quid each.

He has tried some standard after market wishbones but these failed after 3 months.

I understand there is a difference between the sport wishbones that are meant to be on his car and the standard wishones and this is why they have failed.

Does any one else other than BMW supply them for a more reasonable price ?

As said above, Lemforder or Meyle HD (heavy duty). Try GSF as well as Eurocarparts.

I bought some Eibach lower arms for my E36 on Ebay... Otherwise try GSF.

Does Barry sell the bushes separately? I would get him to do mine but I'm miles away!

Buy the power flex bushes from c3bmw and then get them punched in the lollipops that you have on the car already. It is those bushes that fail first, not the entire wishbone arm, characterised by a thud under braking
