Driving with snow on your roof ...

Heard a rumour tonight that if the police see you driving along with snow on your roof they'll be issuing a £60 fine and 3 points...

Anyone heard about anything more about this or is it another stupid text message going around to make people paranoid?

Not only doing the rounds on texts, but also Twitter, and no doubt Facebook as well.

Even if it is an urban myth, if it makes people safer by taking the snow off their roofs first then it's ok by me.

Had a sdaft bint stop on a roundabout yesterday, blocking all traffic behind because the snow had slid down from the roof of her alfa and was blocking her vision.

There's about 2cm of near solid snow on the roof of my car atm, guess I better get out there & clear it
