Is there a NYE tunnel run this year ?

I very much doubt that the usual organiser wants to do it again this year. Too many issues associated with it once it became so popular which is a shame.

Of course, there is nothing to stop someone else taking over the reins.

Usually Cardiff New Years Eve.

A breakfast meet sounds like a great idea

I was waiting to see if a thread was going to emerge about this years tunnel run.

Ive started to look foraward each year to a meet in the morning of newyears eve! Makes the new years eve day / night all the better for me

It sounds like a great idea but I can imagine it attracting the worst kind of attention - the halfords spoiler + rims brigade.

Shame.

What about a SW excursion to a track day?

I actually rmembered to take NYE off this year but regrettably have SORN'd the Mustang in the light of the dire weather and limited opportunity I get to use it so couldn't go anyway. After last year's "report", I also have to express disquiet as it could prove problematic for me in my job...

I do actually have an idea for a breakfast meet

Ive not attended any of the regular ones though as usually on a sunday morning the last place i should be is behind the wheel of a car

New years eve will be a friday this year (not that it makes much diffrence)

I always thought a nice place to meet might be at the top of Caerphilly mountain, where there is a famous log cabin / burger bar. Its open 364 days a year and does a cracking cup of tea and bacon buttys !

They have a car park off the road which at that time of the morning i suppose could hold approx 25 cars with reletive comfort.

Caerphilly Mountain is very busy these days and that car park is frequently full of cars owned by dog owners who like to let their dogs sh** on the local beauty spot.

There is nothing stopping people turning up. Simple.

Turn up and have a good time = fun

Act like a ... and more than likely Bib will be called and the party stops!
