Cerbs an animal?
Discussion
I keep reading these threads and I keep reading the Cerb speed six is easier to drive day to day.
I would just like to say nearly eighteen months of driving my 4.5LW day in, day out, and I have to say is an absolute puppy around town.
My cobra was rather like the Chim 500 I tried, so much like it that it really wasn't worth changing. I could stick the Cobra in fourth and never need to change gear even in the centre of london!
The Cerb on the other hand needs regular use of the gear lever, but apart from that no problem. I remember having smaller capacity cars when I was young and quite enjoying regular gear changes, so kinda like the cerb from that point of view. Is that really what everyone moans about when they say the 8 is not as good as the 6 around town?

I remember when I first got the Cerb, it took me a little while to get used to making smooth progress in town (early 4.2) after easy to drive Scooby and Elise.
Now I'm used to it don't really have a problem.
Julian, viewing your 'stable' you are obviously well versed with the 'big balls motors'!
