Just thought I'd put a post in the S forum, as it seems a bit quiet at the moment it's normally one of the most active of the forums..

Peter H (4.6GTI 16V RS) have you started the sprinting season yet, if so, how have the results been going?
I believe you're participating in the Central Southern Counties sprint series?? if so are you entering the Goodwood event on the 25th May? I thought I'd ask, as it would be a good opportunity to see the car in the flesh and in action , as Goodwood is only 30 minutes up the road for Chez H.

Hi Harry,

I've just got back from the pub. Gave my mate a lift home (not a car guy) and he couldn't understand why I still had the roof off at midnight.

I didn't know TVR's had a roof, or at least, one that could be put back on! I thought it was a substance which moleculised into a rain shield when it got wet!!!

Aha!!! That's why speed matters. Speed must be the "substance" then

Sad to report I’ve now sold my S3 (don’t shout at me – I already feel a traitor) which will be heading up to Scotland on Saturday. I hope the new owner has as many happy years of motoring that I did. Thankfully a Chimaera or Griffiths will replace him soon.

Alison,

Congrats, that didn't take too long then, did you get your asking price :need nosey smiley: ?

At least you've still got a link to the S world - I just hope you're not too disapointed when you find a Chim is just not the same

Intersting that you thought of JOY as a 'he', my S is certainly female - gorgeous to look at, curvy, costs a lot to feed and makes a lot of noise when provoked

Let us all know how the search goes.

Cheers,
JSG.

PM says get a yellow one with cup holders

JSG - sold 'him' for £7,500 but had lots of last minute interest when I'd agreed the sale and still getting calls. I'm off hunting for a new beast this weekend :-)

Alison,

Good luck with the hunt. Who knows you might get lucky and find a V8S

Cheers,
