Jonny car is great, a beast and fun to drive just not in this weather.
Hamish trust me I don't want air con its just that I bought a job lot of 400 spares and included was a air con pump - I just can't imagine why. Anyway if anyone wants to try it they can have it for the cost of postage.
Well done on the run by the way.
Not worried about Hotty by the way - he's a bit of a lightweight now Traceys got him domesticated smile

Nah there's bugger all space under there as it is... besides I'd need a bracket and two radiators for the refrigerant...

Reverse hoses on the compressor so your evaporater becomes an extra heater and have your condenser feeding your intake.

For the less technical, this is a joke, as it would require moving the expansion valve too. Not easysmile

I just wish that when I rebuilt the 350+2 I'd fitted air con to that. The cabin is like an oven in the height of summer and unfortunately that car doesn't have the option of taking the roof off!

But I can't face the prosepct of taking it all apart for a second time to retro-fit it now.

Well if you have an evaporator next to your heater matrix in the box it's easy. Cut off the bulb and remove old expansion valve.Fit new one for 134a in the high hose and tape new bulb on the low side in the engine compartment.
Change drier.etc etc.
Or look at some of the interior retrofit units intended for cars that didn't have A/C when built. They only require two hose holes in the firewall.
If you need help finding parts in the US I can help.
Or buy a tin openersmile.
