Gents,
Been looking at Yema watches recently, found a few online in the UK but wondered what folks thought about them.
Any pics would be interesting, done the usual google images etc.
Best Regards

The company has seen ups and downs, supposedly they are back on the up after a disastrous dalliance with 'designer' type watches but it's back in French hands after a succession of speculators, investment groups and watch life-boats.
Everything they have at the moment is either quartz or Orient auto, the price is about right if there is anything that gets your fancy although it could be argued you'd get more for your money elsewhere.
Their stuff from the sixties/seventies/eighties is legend in France, probably as popular as Omega models of the same time period are here; they did some great stuff then but now it's what you may find in a cheaper watch shop / jewellers rather than anything super special - no snobbery intended - indeed, I'm trying to find an old one myself and if you like a watch then go for it, but have a cast about before you commit to them I'd say. Certainly for the moment.

Andy,
Thanks for those pics, some classy ones there.
I was toying with a Seiko Automatic Sports SKZ255K1 but wondered if I shouldn't be a bit more adventurous and Benarus and Helson seem to have run out of the models I fancied.

Any Yema alternatives would be interesting.
Thanks
