My house has been flooded all the way through from a tank/pipe in the loft.

Anyone had experience of this, of companies/methods used to dry the place out? Any recommendations?

Yes, several years ago with an empty property, head tank in loft, and although i used a dehumidifier it took months for the plastered walls to completely dry out. I possibly rushed the redecorating, since both mould and mushrooms started to reappear on the walls.

Moisture meter and dehumidifier. Insurance companies should sort this out if this is the way you go.

We flooded in 2007 with 5 foot of water. Chemdry were a good company who sorted the damp walls out.
