So, on a day when most people aren't even attempting to go to the shops, I've had an altogether different mission! I've had to drive myself to Belgium today. It's taken me 12 hours, 3 of which were stationary on the M25 and 2 on a broken Eurostar train but I'm here now and I have beer and steak in front of me. Phew

Anyone else done a mad journey today?

I invented the sport of 'Skiing While Being Towed By A Car', and then went in search of a nice snowy country road where I could get myself stuck and spend 10 minutes trying to get out. So been a bit of a mad day, just not as bad as yours though.

I went for a walk in to town, pulling my son on the sledge behind me.

Does that count?

Having eaten it, I'm actually none the wiser, it was nice and bacony though. So... Apple strudel or chocolate banana waffle?

Tell you what, the rest of it isn't bad either. 12 hours of sitting in the same spot and not a hint of an ache or pain. Stereo was great, it all worked and did 40mpg average. Do want.

Good effort OP!

I imagine it wouldn't have been as enjoyable in a small french hatch back!

ETA: That Belgian Beer/Steak/Chips combo looked tasty!!

I towed my daughter to school on her sledge, then rigged it up behind my sons GoPed and we towed each other up and down the lane. Loads of fun until we persueded my wife to have a go in the sledge and she panicked, dug her heels in and caused the rear tyre to spin and rip the valve out frown

Women, eh?

I'll get one of the dirty jag tomorrow. Got to get back to Coventry! It had already done 150 miles by the time I took that photo, but yes still in England.

Here's a good pic. Strange optical illusion at Folkestone that makes it look mountainous!!!
