I am in need of a replacement glass for a watch i am restoring.
I assume i just pick one going by the diameter of the bezel? or is there more to it.

There's a bit more to it than that - as well as diameter, there is: material; thickness; profile (domed or flat); fitting (ie how it is attached). If you have the old one you should be able to use that to identify a suitable replacement, or get one made, assuming it isn't readily available.
