16 inch wheels

I am looking to change the front estorils on my Griff from 15 to 16 inch wheels. Do the rear Griff wheels have the same off sets, ie a straight forward fit?

The 16" wheels actually have a slightly different offset that means they sit slightly inset when you put them on the front, only noticable if you look closely. The main issue you may find is that they may foul the lower suspension arm on full lock on one side, how much and if depends how centrally located your steering rack is.
When I fitted the 16"s to my car a couple of steering lock spacers were required on the offside to prevent that, apart from helping with getting new tyres the 16" wheels also make the car feel a bit more 'planted' and remove the slight traces of understeer when pushing on.

Adding to this question. If the wheels are changed to 16'', will it make the steering harder on a manual racked griff?

Adding again to the question, does anyone know the offset details of both the 15" and 16" wheels and also how wide each are in inches? Am right thinking the 15" wheels are 7" wide and the 16" wheels 7.5" wide?

spike - put 17's with 235 soft toyos on the front of mine with the manual rack and is was very heavy at slow speeds so much so that i fitted power steering
