Council appear to have done the usual stellar job with gritting the A329

Down to one lane, and not that sure the first lane has been gritted (possiblly just car wear on the snow), but the first lane is very treacherous.

TVP drive also not that great

Wow, I live in Maidenhead but because I have some days holiday I haven't ventured out in the last day or so, I assumed it would be just slush once I get onto the main roads. Now my wife wants to go shopping in Reading (!) so I assumed the A4 etc. would be fine, now you've worried me! Any recent reports?

Just done Old Windsor/Maidenhead/Hare Hatch/Binfield/Ascot/Old Windsor and all the main roads are fine, the back lanes are pretty slippy for those of you that don't have winter tyres/chains/snow socks etc smile

A329M between Bracknell and M4 London bound is now fine in both lanes, no issues at all. M4 to Junction 8/9 is also fine and actually more pleasant than a normal morning due to the lack of traffic.

Yeah, I went out at about 10:30 into Reading and found the roads clear and snow free. It's amazing that Gatwick, only 30 miles or so south, is snowed in! Even my son in Camberley had to walk to work this morning...
