I'm just about to run out of Bluecol antifreeze and since Halford's didn't have any 4-litre bottles of the stuff I picked up their own 'Advanced' stuff since it said it was Ethylene Glycol based but it's a different colour and doesn't smell the same...

Is it ok to mix it with the Bluecol stuff or am I asking for trouble...

Thanks,

Mark

Perfectly OK. I've never paid the slightest bit of attention to the make of antifreeze, so long as there's plenty of it.

I've been told it doesn't hugely matter so long as it is Ethylene Glycol.

ie. don't go mixing different types of Anti-freeze, but different brands of the same chemical (in this case Ethylene Glycol) is ok.
