Last week the Chim passed It's MOT, today the Merc did the same. No advisories, nothing smile

Why do MOT passes feel so good?

In the past 8 weeks the TVR has had a big service and both cars needed their insurance renewing. The Merc needs tax in Jan too. Cars are expensive!

It's great isn't it? I put my daily banger (1995 Toyota Carina 1.6) in for it's MOT recently and it sailed through with no advisories. I even put it in a month before the previous MOT expired so I'd have a month to fix it (or get something else) but I drove away with thirteen months of MOT.
smile

my vx 220 passed a couple of weeks ago, nothing wrong at all (well apart from the slightly small front plate which was changed at the testing station) was over the moon as i have never actually had a car put through an mot before!

My Elise went through with no advisories this year.

Which was weird, as it went through with 1 advisory the year before, and that never got sorted laugh

I had exactly this feeling when the Audi sailed through, only advisory was worn front brake pads.. Which, 2000 miles later, still have stacks of material on them, so I'm going to ignore that one!

Always a very very good feeling, especially when you have your doubts biggrin
