Just crept in from the TVR Forum.

This is a repeat of a recent post I have added to the TVR Forum.

I have used the Chipex Stone Chip Repair System on Gerald (1990 TVR S2 reg number G39ALD) with great success. www.chipex.co.uk Had been trying to get matched paint using the TVR paint code totally unsuccessfuly but Chipex were able to match the colour exactly (took 'em a week or two to decipher the code though).

I was talking to them about addition bits and pieces couple of days ago and the chap I was speaking to offered a discount of 25% if there were 20 (minimum) interested. Once we reach that threshold then he will give me a discount code for all who have expressed an interest.

We are already just over the 20 threshold and it occured to ne that some on this forum might also be interest.

The code for the 25% discount is chipex10, this code will only be valid until the 31st of December, from personal experience the more detail you can provide the better ie the description of the colour and the paint code from the VIN plate in your car should be supplied. Just ordered one for my 125i. After a good clean this week it has a few nasty chips on it. Just over £42 with delivery. Not cheap but sounds better than a touch up pen so probably worth it.

I have used Chipex on 3 cars now and its insulting to compare it with a touch up pen - they are worth every penny if used according to the instructions. Like everything the more you use it the better the results but even a complete numpty will get significantly better results with this than anything else
