It's rare that I get much PS3 time these days, but tonight I have a free night.

There will be pizza, and there will be beer.

I love Fallout:New Vegas and have lots more to do, as I'm only on level 6. I got GT5 last week and played for 30 mins, so literally have done hardly anything.

Now, I like Fallout:NV, but I also like GT5. But which one's best? There's only one way to find out; POLL!!!!

It's like comparing chalk and cheese. But the fact that FA has no multiplayer I'd go for GT5 all day long.

I'm probably won't be good enough to compete online yet frown

st thread really, I'm just excited about my upcoming night of fun and wanted to tell the world. How sad.

Well, I don't really "do" driving games so it would be Fallout for me.

I left Fallout alone for nearly a month while I was busy with NFS and other things (real life, for example – damn it all) and got back into it last night. It took me some effort to bring myself to put the disc in but then I looked up and I'd played for four hours – it was like I'd never been away. Absorbing.

Both very different games but I'd say Fallout would be a better single player choice.

Provided you've already installed it, GT5. It takes a good evening to 'get' it. Found myself with eyes on stalks hanging on for dear life completing the Gallardo race last night.

Fallout NV has lost me. It just feels like too much of a re-run of Fallout 3, which I spent 100's of hours on. It hasn't done anyhting to really impress me yet.

'get' it? It's meant to be the real driving simulator... it's just poor and people have to persevere to convince themselves it is amazing. Most games hook you in GT you just keep lowering expectations until it's great.

I didn't get Fallout:NV - never played the original, started in the small town and never worked out what you're supposed to do.

Turned it off after buggering about for a bit, never played again.

hehe

Big Iron on his hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip!

Well, the poll looks pretty 50/50 so I'm going to start with GT5 and see how I get on. Couple of hours of that, then maybe a session on New Vegas.

Now I need to decide on which pizza and which beer.

Well, obtain better weapons, don't attack loads of people at once until you have more weapons/armour. Go speak to Sunny in the Prospector Saloon (I think) in Goodsprings and start off learning how to play it.

That song gets far to much airtime IMHO, love the jingle jangles one.

Put Many hours into FO:NV so far, GT5 on Xmas list. Can't wait to get the choice for real soon...
