Post in south yorkshire

Has anyone had post delivered in south yorkshire this week?? I live in doncaster, and havent seen hide nor hair of a postman since the snow started to fall. Anyone else had this, or are you getting your mail okay?

No, not had any since Monday, but the postman doesn't come until 4pm normally so I don't know whether we will today. I'm in north-west Sheffield and the First buses haven't been running here since Monday, have been snowed in since then as well. Snow plough came down earlier, moved all the snow on the road, leaving sheet ice underneath Got to get out tomorrow otherwise I'll starve!

The best bit about this???? I checked on royal mails website, and to them, they only had any post issues at the sheffield sorting office yesterday. Deliverys will be back to normal today. Oh fking really???? I dont think so

Nothing from Royal Mail since Monday, saw the postie on Wednesday as I tried not to run her over as she was attempting to walk down the middle of the street, but had a few deliveries from UPS: car and camera bits delivered from USA in 3 days!!

We're on the West/South border and our postie has come round everyday this week. He's got chains on his van and hasn't been put off by the 15" of snow.

no post delivery on either Fri or Sat (yesterday) but the collections guy that comes for the parcels from our mail order operations has been every day and only about 7 minutes later than normal
