So currently her stomach is flat (there is no fat) and she wants to develop a six pack, yes?
Case 1) her stomach is flabby: cardio work is the only way forward; you cannot locally burn fat
Case 2) she is perfectly modelled and wants to tone up: she's better off just doing loads of crunches and hanging leg raises - buy her a chin up bar of some sort. Those contraptions you lie in are not very good as it's quite a light resistance you're pushing against.

Yes she has very very low body fat levels, stomach is completely flat. She already does a fair amount of work in the gym training 4 or 5 days a week, combination of cardio and weights and has good muscle tone. She uses a floor cruncher at the gym, and just wants one for home if she can't get to the gym and misses a session. She finds them easy to use. I do crunches without a the use of a machine.. she just prefers to use one.
This looks good, whether it provides results I have no idea:-

In that case, might as well get the cheapest adjustable one. She should also consider doing planks and side planks.
PS TTIWWP.
LOL well OK I better ask her permission first before I post one up!PS TTIWWP.

If she wants her abs to grow she'll need to use some weight.
Leg raises on a bench holding 6kg between her feet 3 x 10
Crunches holding 10kg 3 x 10
Then go to work on obliques/intercostals.
Abs are just like any other muscle in the body in that they respond to short sets and quite heavy weights.
The portable version of abs machines are all a waste of time,a gimmick.
