I used to own a flatnose 930 Turbo so know something about them.....

Don't know of this particular car I am affraid....nor the dealer.....

If you go and see it and like it....make sure you get it properly checked out by a specalist.

Mine was fantastic...great run....

Why not - while you're in the UK you could also view a real 3.3L 930 with full history that's for sale for similar money - MINE!

www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/detail.asp?i=20780&s=79

Mine's neither flat nose nor convertible obviously, but a better drive and sounder investment IMHO than the car in question. Admittedly I have a slightly vested interest!

If you want the real deal (and have a slightly larger budget...) theres an original for sale here [url]http://tinyurl.com/yrsc5[url]
looks nice but has been advertised for a while, maybe seller is open for an offer

Tony, I'd have to advise not going anywhere near an 82 flatnose cabriolet with a lack of history, even if just from a resale point of view.

No matter how nice it looks and how nice the bloke selling it is, it still ranks alongside the London Bridge/Tower Bridge debacle as one of the worst purchasing descisions of all time.

I dunno Dom, posibly the best option for this thing is to ship it over to the yanks & let 'em put it in a desert lake & then drive paying tourists over it in ex London Routemaster buses & black cabs

If you really want a 930 flat nose, worth trying to find out where SB1's car is now, (camtune sold it on I belive) it was a decent example & 95% of the real gen article (930 useing all genuine panels in the conv) but for a fraction of the price of the real thing. (& the power could be easily uprated now days to match & even way exceed gen Turbo SE power if it bothered you)

I see you're still looking

Audi TT? No fun at all. TVR? Unlikely to get LHD, and even then... well, let's just say I used to own one and now I drive a 964.
Boxster? Not a bad choice but where would you find even a LHD 2.5 for 15k???
So what are we left with? A LHD 964C2 of course! You know it makes sense...
