dsc warning on 04 s type

very rarely i get a warning on the dash of my 04 3.0ltr s type,stating the stability control is not available.if i turn the car off and on again,it seems to cancel the warning out.
any ideas?

Mine does that too.

That and the ABS seem to have a mental breakdown if used too much - as in snow. Then you switch off and they calm down again.
