Not sure how best to work this, but I remember a thread a while back, listing, in order of merit, all the watch manufacturers.

Could we do this again? See if we can draw up a definitive list between us all?

It's always quite subjective and it depends on your criteria and the weighting of them, also, if you take a look at the number of movements COSCed for example, you'll see a different picture - but one which is also a bit skewed...

That's because they award things like 'marketing' as a plus point - L&S have 3 stars to the Rolex 6...

That list is utterly worthless. Tag Heuer 10th rofl

I started to write my own (equally contentious I'm sure) list a while ago, will see if I can dig it out and finish it off.

They spelled Audemars Piguet wrong.

I wonder how far down the list you'd find Seiko or Grand Seiko.

that reminds me, I've been meaning to start a 'what spring drive' thread for a while..
