Hello all,
I'm in need of tyres and have read numerous recommendations for Vredestein Sessantas but I can't find anywhere online that sells them!? Can anyone suggest a place to buy? Doesn't have to be online I guess, I'm in Birmingham if anyone knows a local fitter?

Perhaps the size is causing problems, it's not the most common - 225/45/18.

Thanks muchly

With all due respect, a useless post. You think I haven't tried that? All the usual places don't stock them or have no stock, hence my trouble. Only ebay stock is in the US.

So when you say with all due respect, you actually mean with no respect at all, right?

Event Mobile fitted 2 for me this morning - albeit in 225/40/18 rather than 45. About £120 each fitted. Admittedly not the cheapest available but they come to you and it saves the faff of having to take the car somewhere that has them in stock.

To be fair, it deserved no respect.

Camskill seem to have them, but they seem to be out of stock at the moment frown

Call Jeff Fowkes Wheels, Ibstock, Leics. About 1/2 hr drive from BHX.

He had Z4M size fronts in stock and sorted me out for about £300 the pair fitted (the point being Z4M fronts are that same size, 225/45/18 IIRC).

Mine too. Great service, prices are creeping up though.

I'll second click on tyres. They've just fitted 4 Vred Wintrac tyres on my Touareg when nobody else had stock or could tell me when any would be available. Great service as well.

I recommend the Ultrac Sessantas. I've been running them on my Tuscan and really like them.

Many thanks for the pointers, I'll give them a try. Reifen has stock, in Germany, which would be on the pricey side once I've sorted fitting, but it's an option at least.

I could always change to 235/40/18 instead, very similar rolling radius even if the ride would be a little more harsh.

What do we reckon to Falken FK452s as an alternative?
