F1 SAG HAPPY DAYS!!!!!!!!!

Ok gang

Time to confirm that I have purchased my dream car. Yes the F1 SAG is now mine, paid for, paper work done, HAPPY DAYS!

Will not bore you all with the details, but from having my T350c, then to a Griff 500 and now I have finally got the beast. Ever since I saw the YOUTUBE vid from racing green, I promised myself that I would get a Sag. The fact that green is my favourite colour on cars, and I have purchased the actual car used in the promotional vid is simply God sent.

A few thankyou's are needed, firstly to Clive Ford, to the previous owner for deciding to sell this wonferful car, Jason @ str8six and finally to my partner for understanding that the SAG is far more important than buying new sofa's, finishing off the Log Cabin and also lanscaping the garden!

For the record Jason and the team @ STR8SIX were simply superb as usual. The car's prep work is superb and the time and quality of service and attention to detail from Jason and the lads in simply the best.

Hope to see you all soon once the weather has sorted itself out. Can anyone in the meantime please help me with recommending some ramps that will allow me to get under the car and start the usual cleaning and detailing work. What else can I do in this weather?

2 post and 4 post ramps are not an option to me for now. Thanking you all in advance.

Graham, what exhaust pipes are you using on yours, looks like a bigger diameter pipe, but can`t make out the ends of them?

Clive they are the ones both Graham and I had for the track, others still run them for track work. With the increase in Grahams engine to 4.3 and mine to 7.0 it means we can not use them anymore and mine have gone to another Sag user and Grahams have gone on a Tuscan.

You need to get a Varley manual for your Sagaris now as it really will pay for itself. You can see the exhaust cans Graham now runs on the second but last picture up on the left on the attached link. I run even bigger diameter cans - two 24" ones from a Mosler race car.

cheers Graham, I guess the inserts,2 x pipe bends, help on circuits with the noise meters on the side of the track, so throwing the exhaust nore to the rear of the car.

I am working on something at the moment,regards to a different silencer, will let you know how it goes.

Last time I checked my name was still Chris and not Clive. For the record Paul the car F1 SAG that you have posted, is the car that I have purchased from STR8SIX and yes it does still look as good 5 years on. As far as the No. plate is concerned, the plates were made with a error and photographed on the car in error.

The for sale pictures @ STR8SIX featuring the car on Reg Plate : RH05 HZZ is in error. The correct plate is:

RX05 HZZ as it appears on my Log Book etc and this is the actual car you have spotted @ racing green, very nice picture I must say. As this is my pride and joy I want to set the record straight Paul.
